Advice
How to use and care for your saddle pads.
With the Le Innovation and Le Tradition saddle pads, only the liner in contact with the horse's back needs regular washing. Here is how to use it and look after it so it lasts for years.
The Le Innovation saddle pad
- No need to wash it as often as a standard saddle pad.
- If needed, hose it down or machine wash it on a delicate cycle, cold.
- Air dry.
- Store it flat or hanging: the fabric has shape memory and can crease.
How to use
- Attach the liner to the pad using the snaps.
- Place the pad on the horse's back, liner side down.
- Put the saddle on top and girth up as usual.
Caring for the liner
- Unfasten the polyester/cotton liner one snap at a time, without pulling on it.
- Once the liner is dry, shake it to remove the hair.
- Put it in the free mesh laundry bag, then machine wash on a delicate cycle at 30 °C.
- Do not exceed 1,000 rpm when spinning.
- Air dry.
Caring for the pad
The Le Tradition and Le Classique saddle pads
- Care for it like a standard quilted saddle pad.
- Machine wash on a delicate cycle at 30 °C.
- Air dry.
